An occasional reauthorisation is normal. A monthly one means something structural.
A Xero connection is tied to whoever authorised it. If that person's permissions are reduced, their access is removed, or they leave, the connection dies with it. Connect under a stable account you control.
Xero lists connected applications, and anyone with admin rights can revoke them. Well-meaning tidy-ups have broken plenty of working integrations. Confirm nothing is being revoked routinely.
If you have several Xero orgs, ensure the connection points at the right one — and that the authorising user retains access to it specifically, not just to the group.
